A system built on 4 pillars that allows fighters to easily understand the crucial features of an elite boxing glove, and a vow that every glove sold by Hit N Move is engineered under these conditions…
-
Innovation
Not a new name for something already found in all the top boxing brands. Hit N Move strives to innovate new solutions that have never been seen before.
-
Science Backed
We are fully aware of the “innovative” marketing epidemic from similar gloves. That is why all our features must be developed and approved by leading specialists in the fields we innovate.
-
Optimal Protection
More padding ≠ more protection. We use X-rays and leading specialists to understand the biomechanics of a boxer's hand/arm to create optimal protection when throwing and landing each punch.
-
Peak Performance
In the past, performance and protection were always a sacrifice for the other. More performance = less protection and vice versa. We refuse to trade. Even if solutions take years to find, we will find a way.
These 4 Pillars have been the backbone of our 5 Pro Fist Principles so far, keeping us accountable for every new innovation we release.
What are the 5 Principles?
1. Perfect Fist Shape:
Square Impact Zone
The integrity of your punch starts with the fist.
Principle: The knuckles—particularly the index and middle finger—are the primary impact drivers. When forming your fist, these knuckles should be aligned to create a square shape inside the glove, ensuring maximum impact and safety. Crucially, the two knuckles that make first contact must be firmly backed by the radius bone in your forearm, providing additional support and stability during impact. This alignment ensures that force is transmitted efficiently while minimizing injury risk.
Validation: We tested this principle under live X-ray with renowned orthopedic surgeon Zed Zamfirov, confirming that this optimal fist configuration—with the knuckles supported by the radius—is ideal for generating power and preventing injuries.
2. Padding:
The glove should have at least 1 inch (for fight gloves) such as 8-10 oz, padding must be acquired from absorbent, and compliant . Ideal thickness for training gloves such as 12-14-16 oz should be around 1.5 - 1.7 inches for optimal protection, performance and comfort.
Padding Compliance and Durability:
The padding should be designed to soften over time with use, enhancing comfort, while maintaining its structural integrity without collapsing or losing shape. It should provide consistent shock absorption during sparring and bag work, ensuring long-lasting protection.
Layered Construction:
A robust compression layer (similar to a "Hit N Move dr-t" layer) should serve as the foundation, contributing to the glove's durability and long-term effectiveness.
Material Density and Shock Absorption:
The padding materials must be selected from shock-absorbing substances that offer slight bounce, providing both impact absorption and a responsive feel.
Horse Hair Padding:
If horse hair is used, only true horse hair patches must be employed—no shredded wool or external materials should be included. The padding should consist solely of long, intact horse hair within a pouch, which is then compressed using a proprietary technique by Hit N Move. This compression involves a specialized process with an EVA layer that helps achieve the desired density and slight bounce, ensuring the padding feels natural and provides excellent shock absorption. The padding must feel like genuine horse hair, with no shredded or cloth-like materials that could reduce bounce or shock absorption.
3. Superior Wrist Support:
Natural and Stable
Positioning
Your wrist is the cornerstone of your punch.
Design: Our gloves are shaped to support the *wrist* by aligning the *index and middle knuckles* with the *radius bone* of your arm, placing your wrist in a *strong, natural position** during impact.
Benefit: This reduces strain, prevents injuries, and ensures your wrist remains stable through every punch, boosting both safety and endurance.
4. Intelligent Weight
Distribution: The Dr-T
Standard (Founded in 2022)
Power, speed, and precision depend on balance.
Innovation: Inspired by *Dart weight distribution, our proprietary **Dr-T ratios ensure the glove's weight is perfectly balanced.
Goal: PUNCHES should fly like an arrow and hit with maximum force — without being top- or wrist-heavy.
Result: This optimal weight distribution enhances speed, accuracy, and endurance during every round.
5. Curved Grip Bar.
Built Around the Human Hand
Most boxing gloves use a straight grip bar. But the human hand was never designed that way.
Through our studies of hand anatomy, we observed that the MCP joints do not align in a straight line or even a simple diagonal. Instead, they form a subtle natural curve across the knuckles. When a grip bar ignores this anatomy, the hand must adapt to the glove rather than the glove supporting the hand.
At HIT N MOVE, we engineered the grip bar to follow this natural curvature.
The purpose of a grip bar is not simply to give the hand something to hold. Its true role is to stabilize the MCP joints during impact. When these joints remain supported and aligned, the fist forms naturally and the hand stays structurally stable through every punch.
Conclusion
Pro Fist is not another name for a glove that you can find in every other brands. In a world of marketing gimmicks and “innovation” marketing, Pro Fist is our dedicated system that keeps us accountable and allows our CEO Ozhan Ackakaja to consistently create designs that can’t be found anywhere else in the market. Like our revolutionary headgears, turtle mitts, condiditoning gloves and many more things to come in the rest of 2026.
