Innovation is a process; innovation never stops. That means, there is an extensive period of time that goes into research, development, material sourcing, production and rigorous testing, before any of Hit N Move’s innovative products hit the market. But the identity as an innovator doesn’t stop once the product is ready to buy. Because as such, the team feels called to be just as dedicated to a continuing process of optimization. They always continue their search - could there be an even better leather at some point, what would make this padding even longer lasting, can they make the liner any more comfortable, etc. - constantly taking direct feedback into account.
A lot of times you fall in love with a product, get really attached as you use it every day - and by the time you need a new one the brand’s quality has fallen off. With Hit N Move it’s the opposite. If you bought a Hit N Move glove in the trust that you are buying the best boxing gloves on the market, trust that by the time you will buy your next pair, they will have gotten even better.
One of the more recent updates has been to the glove leather. Hit N Move has been able to upgrade to a leather that is even softer, while adding some thickness and durability. This shows particularly in the Süvari line, where they have also raised the volume of padding. In combination with the new leather, this has turned the Süvari gloves into a serious sparring glove, despite the sometimes shared notion of horse hair gloves not necessarily being suited for such.
While previous batches of the Süvaris are a masterful glove that the brand is still rightly very proud of, the update on the leather and padding is quite significant. Side by side, the glove still holds the same compact shape with its rather slim design, a reasonable range for an open palm, and easily closed fist. The padding though carries more volume, density behind a thicker, soft leather, increasing the effectiveness of the padding noticeably. This is impressive, as the glove still gives the same ‘pop’ and snappy feedback on the inside that you’d expect from a horse hair glove.
While the leather update is first and foremost a step respecting the brand’s standard of always using the highest quality available, the padding is an active improvement after taking in the feedback on the first batches. While the comments were overwhelmingly positive, there had been voices wondering if this glove could possibly become a no-further-questions-asked option for sparring. And Hit N Move have responded clearly.
It is a continuous optimization process that loyal Hit N Move customers will attest to be a formality for the brand, it’s been the standard since the first day. With a much wider and disruptive range of products these days, this has become more important than ever. The fighters speak, Hit N Move listens and develops.
Because Boxing Deserves Better.
