Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Which gloves should I buy?

That depends on your training goals:

24oz — For conditioning and strength rounds.

12oz — For bag work and mitts (fast, precise, lighter).

16oz — For sparring (always confirm with your gym).

From there, it's all about feel and preference:

Horsehair gloves offer a more raw, traditional feedback with slightly less protection — great for purists who love that puncher's feel.

Agility gloves have the densest hand compartment with a larger grip bar — made for aggressive, close-range fighters who like to sit in the pocket.

Balance gloves have a medium grip bar and looser hand fit — perfect for longer-range, defensive, and sharp counter styles.

If you're unsure, head to the Help Center and create an General Inquiry. Our team can guide you to the perfect pair.

What's the difference between glove weights (12oz, 14oz, 16oz, etc.)?

12oz: Ideal for bag work and mitts — fast and snappy.

14oz: Can be used for both bag and sparring, depending on gym rules.

16oz: The standard for sparring and all-around training.

24oz: Built for conditioning and power development.

Can I use sparring gloves on the bag?

Yes — our gloves are built to handle both. The padding won't collapse after bag rounds like cheaper models. Just remember: consistent cleaning and care will make them last longer.

How long do your gloves last?

We use top quality materials so they last as long as possible but it depends on how well you take care of them and how often you use them and how much you put them through.

What is ALL DAY® mean?

ALL DAY® represents our standard of durability and endurance. Our gloves are designed to go the distance, round after round — provided they're cared for properly.

What does DR-T mean?

DR-T is our aerodynamic padding system, engineered to make your punches fly smoother — like a dart. Learn more on our Pro Fist® page.

What is Pro Fist?

Pro Fist® is our science-backed glove design, perfected through independent research. It aligns the wrist and hand perfectly while using multi-layered padding for maximum protection — a design standard even top Japanese glove makers often miss. You can explore it in detail on our Pro Fist® page.

Are 24oz gloves better than hand weights?

Yes. Our internal studies show that hand weights can stress the rotator cuff, while 24oz gloves condition safely through natural movement. See our 24oz Conditioning page for full details.

Do you sell 18oz gloves?

Not at the moment — our range is purpose-built for optimal balance across 12oz, 16oz, and 24oz.

Do you sell 20oz gloves?

Not at the moment — our range is purpose-built for optimal balance across 12oz, 16oz, and 24oz.

Are your boxing gloves good for arthritis?

Yes. The Pro Fist® design supports proper hand alignment and disperses impact evenly, reducing joint stress. Visit the Pro Fist® page for more on how the structure protects your hands.

Are your boxing gloves protective?

Extremely. Each model uses top-grade multi-layered padding and the Pro Fist® wrist–hand alignment system, offering elite protection without sacrificing feel.

Can I use the same gloves for bag and sparring?

Yes — our training gloves are designed to stay firm after bag work, so you can spar in them without breakdown. Most boxers use 12oz for bag/mitts and 16oz for sparring (always follow your gym's rules).

Can I spar in Suvari Gloves?

Yes, as long as they're 16oz.

Difference between horse hair and padded gloves?

Horsehair offers more raw impact and feedback, while padded gloves prioritize cushioning and protection. Agility and Balance gloves share protection levels but differ in fit and feel — Agility fits tighter and firmer; Balance gives more room for hand movement.

Do you sell mexican style gloves?

Yes — our Horse Hair gloves carry that classic Mexican fight feel: raw feedback, tighter construction, and pure connection to the punch.

Will 24oz increase my speed?

We're currently running new performance studies, and early results are showing that regular training with 24oz gloves can improve hand speed and endurance over time.

Will 24oz increase my power?

Not directly. They're meant for speed and stamina work, not power development — but stronger endurance often leads to better power output down the line. We're also working on a new conditioning glove built specifically for power training.

Can I customize my gloves (color, name, logo)?

Not right now — every Hit N Move glove is handcrafted to exact specifications to preserve performance standards.

Do your gloves come with a warranty?

All gloves are covered under our 7-day return policy for unused products. To report an issue, please visit our Help Center and open an Order Inquiry.

Are your gloves suitable for heavy bag only, or all-round training?

Yes — our training gloves are designed for both. The padding won't "sink" after bag work, meaning they stay ready for sparring and mitt work.

Can I use your gloves for Muay Thai or kickboxing?

Yes — many UFC and world champions, including Henry Cejudo, have praised our gloves for their structure and comfort across striking styles.

Is there a break in period for your gloves?

Yes — around 30 rounds. They'll feel tight at first, but that's intentional so the padding molds perfectly to your hand shape.

How do I know when it's time to replace gloves?

For sparring: when you can start feeling your knuckles through the padding.

For bag work: when the foam starts to lose its rebound or the wrist feels less supported.

Do you sell replacement parts (straps, laces, valves, etc.)?

Not at this time, but if something breaks or you're unsure, reach out to us through the Help Center and we'll see how we can help.

Are your wraps machine washable?

Yes — you can safely wash your hand wraps in a mesh laundry bag on a gentle cycle, then air-dry them to maintain elasticity and shape.
