‘The best’ depends on your goals. A sparring glove, a fight glove, a conditioning glove, and a horsehair glove are not all trying to do the same job.
Yes, they are all trying to maximise protection and performance. But they are doing this in different settings, under different conditions, and for different amounts of time.
That is why our CEO, Ozhan Akcakaya, developed HIT N MOVE’s Pro Fist Principles.
The universal standards every great boxing glove should meet to deliver elite performance and protection.
What are they?
1. Perfect Fist Shape: Square Impact Zone
2. Padding: Layers, Thickness, Construction
3. Superior Wrist Support: Natural & Stable Positioning
4. Intelligent Weight Distribution: DR-T Standard
5. Curved Grip Bar: Built Around Human Hand

Based on our research, these are the principles every glove must follow to be considered elite.
But what are the best gloves, depending on your goals?
Best Glove For Feedback: Suvari Horsehair
Horse hair is known for its raw feedback, precision, and slim punching profile.
While it’s not as protective as our multilayer padded gloves, that is why people love them. The reduced padding gives much higher feedback to measure how your fist is landing on your target.
Making it the best glove for feeling your shots and perfecting your technique.

Best Glove For Pressure Fighters: Agility
Engineered to have a thicker grip bar and a more rigid hand compartment, the Agility glove is designed to allow you to spend more time in the pocket and push the pace on your opponent.
The larger grip bar and rigid design allow a tighter fist to generate explosive power in small spaces, while also enabling a secure closed guard.
This advantage may seem minor, but the tighter fist allows earlier activation of the hand and forearm, saving you milliseconds when it matters most.

Best Glove For Technical Boxers: Balance
Developed with a medium-sized grip bar and a more open-handed design, the Balance glove is made for the relaxed and technical boxer.
This smaller grip bar and open-handed design allow you to move more fluidly, rely on hand defenses, and constantly switch between relaxing at range and exploding in with a counter.
If you do want a sparring/training glove and are not sure between Agility and Balance, the Balance is the safer and more popular option of these two.

Best Glove For Compact Training: Compact Series
Compact 12: 12 oz Padding | 8oz Size
Compact 14: 14 oz Padding | 10oz Size
Compact 16: 16 oz Padding | 10oz Size
Our latest glove innovation, changing the way fighters prepare in camp by giving them fight glove precision with training glove protection.
It is important to know:
NO SPARRING IN COMPACT GLOVES.
But if you have sparring gloves or don’t plan on sparring, these are one of the most innovative and useful bag/mitts gloves on the market today.

Best Glove For Conditioning: Conditioning Gloves
Speed. Endurance. Shoulder Conditioning.
These are the main benefits of our Conditioning gloves series.
HIT N MOVE tested the weight and found 1.5 lbs to be the best balance between performance benefit and injury risk.
For the benefits listed above, these are one of the strongest gloves on the market, featuring our Compact technology to make them the same size as a 16oz sparring glove.
Although these gloves are too firm for sparring and cannot be used against an opponent, if you are looking for another pair of bag/mitts gloves, wanting to throw faster or endure longer, these gloves are an elite choice.

Best Glove For Fight Night: Fight Gloves
Fight gloves are completely different from training gloves.
They are designed to be smaller but offer a larger hand profile thanks to the professional wraps.
They are designed to break in faster because they’re only meant to be used for one fight.
They have to follow certain rules made by the commission that can impact their durability and longevity compared to a training glove.
So, fight gloves can be used in training, but we don’t recommend this, even though our fight gloves feature all of our Pro Fist Principles.
They are optimised to perform best for one night, not years of training.

Best Depends On Your Goal
To sum up…
-
Feedback: Suvari
-
Pressure style: Agility
-
Technical training: Balance
-
Fight glove feel: Compact
-
Conditioning: Conditioning Gloves
-
Fight night: Fight Gloves
But for most of you, you don’t need to cover all of these grounds. We would recommend one dedicated sparring glove and one dedicated training glove as the best option for 99% of boxers.
But if you just want one glove altogether, then go with the Agility or Balance, as they are designed to withstand the daily beatings from sparring, heavy bag, and mitt work.
