What’s the difference, and which glove is best for me?
The most popular question for both our most popular training gloves.
With more similarities than differences, the biggest distinction is in the grip bar and the flexibility of each glove.
They both contain the exact same padding and Pro Fist principles.
However, they are both designed for a different style of fighter.
Differences
All Day Agility Training Glove
Engineered to have a thicker grip bar and more rigid hand compartment, the agility glove is designed for the more aggressive pressure fighter.
Designed to spend more time in the pocket while pushing the pace on your opponent.
The larger grip bar and rigid design allow a more natural close guard, while keeping your hand in a tight fist to generate power fast and hard.
It may seem small, but a tighter fist allows earlier hand and forearm activation, saving you milliseconds when it matters most.
Although many notice the Agility glove is initially tighter because of the larger grip bar, as your hand breaks into the glove, the padding will mold around your hand and break in to give an identical fit to the balance.
Finally, it is important to understand…
The rigidness on the glove only affects how easily you can open your hand. Both glove designs have the exact same padding structure and offer equivalent levels of protection.
All Day Balance Training Glove
Developed with a medium-sized grip bar and a more open-handed glove design, the balance glove is designed for the more technical, more comfortable boxer.
Designed to spend more time at range, relying on rhythm as opposed to pressure.
The medium grip bar and flexible hand compartment allow a balance of open hand defences and closed hand power, perfect for the boxer who is comfortable at range and prefers to dictate the pace.
If you're not sure which glove to get, the Balance is the safer and more popular option of these two.
Although the agility is perfect for the pressure fighter who loves coming forward, these days, that style is an acquired taste.
Similarities
Although they are designed for different styles, the gloves are both from our All Day Series and are crafted with all 5 innovations of our Pro Fist Principles.
1. Perfect Fist Shape: Square Impact Zone
Hand compartments are validated through X-rays to ensure the front 2 knuckles (main impact drivers) make first contact with the target, allowing a safer, stronger punch from the boxer.

2. Padding: DR-T Layering
Each glove's padding is 1.5 - 1.7 inches while being constructed with 4 layers for optimal protection, performance, and comfort.
Layer 1
Memory foam layer, allowing the hand compartment to mould to your hand for a tailored fit once broken in.
Layer 2
Energy-bouncing layer, allowing the glove to decompress faster and transfer less force into your hand and more back into the target.
Layer 3
Shape-maintaining layer, consisting of a thin adhesive foam that holds the padding system together from the inside for greater durability. Preventing the padding from softening and caving in after long-term use on the heavy bag and in the ring.
Layer 4
Impact Absorption layer, the main outer padding that protects your hands and your partner's head. Selected from shock-absorbing substances that offer slight bounce, providing both impact absorption and a responsive feel.

3. Superior Wrist Support: Natural and Stable Positioning
Shaped to support the wrist by aligning the index and middle knuckles with the radius bone of your arm to place your wrist in a strong, natural position during impact. Then wrapped in reinforced foam for extra support.

4. Intelligent Weight Distribution: The Dr-T Standard (Founded in 2022)
Mapping the anatomical weight distribution of a human hand, our proprietary Dr-T ratios ensure the glove's weight is perfectly balanced. Allowing your glove to fly like a dart and hit with maximum force without being top-heavy or wrist-heavy.

5. Curved Grip Bar: Built Around the Human Hand
A curved grip bar, better aligning with the MCP joints, to optimally align and stabilize these joints on impact while also making a more comfortable and naturally closed fist.
