Pro Fist Principles
Vector contains all 5 of our Pro Fist principles. These are the 5 principles that we believe every glove must have in order to offer the highest level of protection and performance. These are not based purely on our beliefs and are developed through meticulous testing, consulting with performance and scientific experts, and then verified through experiments such as X-ray and wind tunnel testing.
Wind tunnel, in particular, was used for the first time when developing Vector at the Maryland University Wind Tunnel. One of the most prestigious aerodynamic facilities in the world, with over 75 years of experience, the tunnel has completed more than 2,200 tests for over 300 clients, including Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Ford, and the United States military.
Through this testing, we verified and approved 2 new principles based on the findings.
MCP CONNECT™ GRIP BAR
VECTOR™ features the MCP Connect™ Grip Bar, naturally positioning the index and middle metacarpophalangeal (MCP) joints to become the primary point of impact.
These are the strongest striking knuckles of the hand. By encouraging them to land first, VECTOR™ promotes a more anatomically efficient punching position and greater consistency on every punch.
RADIUS LOCK™ WRIST ALIGNMENT
Power travels through the skeleton, not just the muscles.
VECTOR™ aligns the wrist so the radius, the primary load-bearing bone of the forearm, sits directly behind the primary striking knuckles. This creates a stronger structural pathway for force while helping reduce unnecessary stress on the wrist and surrounding soft tissues.
